Trick.....or Treat?

We had a lot of fun trick or treating tonight. My niece and nephew were able to come along. Khloe had a blast going door to door with them! It got a little cold so we had to cut our trick or treating short. Don't worry...we still got PLENTY of candy!

I was just happy that she actually put on the costume!! She fought us a little bit putting it on, but at the end of the night she would not take it off! I thought for sure she was going to sleep in it! I'm sure she thought if she left it on she would be able to go get more M&M's!!

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween! Well I guess it's time to get the Christmas decorations out! I CAN'T WAIT!!! If we didn't go cut down a real tree I think our tree might be up tonight!
No events scheduled at this time

Hi everyone! For those of you who don’t know me….I have been married to my husband Troy for 5 years and we have a 2 year old daughter, Khloe.

Most of my nights after Khloe goes to bed are spent scrapping, looking at blogs, and doing DIY projects. Unfortunately for about the first year after Khloe was born I didn’t get ANY scrapbooking done. I chalk this up to having a child who didn’t (and still doesn’t) want to sleep! So, a lot of the pages that you will see posted are going to be me, playing catch up with her album.

I started this blog after Khloe was born to post pictures for family and friends and keep everyone updated on our life. You will continue to see lots of pictures of our little girl and our life. In addition, I recently decided to start posting scrapbook page ideas, DIY projects, challenges, and just fun things that I come across. I will also be keeping the blog up to date with scrapbooking events that I’m hosting.

My hope is to inspire and encourage people to keep doing what they love. Even if you only have a half hour a day, it’s important to spend time doing something that makes you happy!

If you ever have any questions on any of the projects I do or materials I use, or if you just want to chat, please email me at paperscrappin@q.com

What an angel

When we got home from the orchard on Monday we decided to go outside and enjoy the rest of the nice day....except for those darn black bugs. They kept biting and we only had a short time to be out. But we were still able to get a little bit of play time in. Then we headed inside to make supper. Khloe was sure to keep herself busy while I cooked. Here is what she did.....

to the orchard.......

Tell me again why I thought the sucker was a good idea??? :)

We decided to take advantage of the REALLY nice weather yesterday and head out to the apple orchard. We got kind of a late start so by the time we got there Khloe was about ready for a nap. I was still able to get a few good pictures in....especially after we went and got the sucker! She was not so sure about the goats this year. We just looked at them from a distance and were sure to wave "bye, bye" when we left. All in all we had a pretty fun day....that is until we got home and the sucker started getting all over everything! Well, it was a fun prop for awhile! :)

I'm still here

Things have been staying very busy around here for the past month....unfortunately most of it has to do with being sick!!! We just can't seem to shake these colds that we have been carrying around with us. I think we are finally on the road to recovery. Due to being sick....I haven't really gotten any use out of my camera lately, so I wanted to post an old picture. This was taken by our sitter Jessica one day when she took Khloe to the park. I LOVED IT!!!! I think it was taken with her phone so the quality wasn't the greatest, but it is way to cute of a picture not to use. I think it improved a little bit in Photoshop. I've got a BIG project I'm working on and wanted to use this picture in it! Don't worry I'll keep you posted. I'm really excited about it...Troy doesn't even know about it...until he reads this and wonders what the heck is going on. He gets a little nervous when I bring up the word "project."

There are also going to be some new changes to my blog in the next month or so. Be sure to check back around the first of November! It will be pretty exciting I think!
