Time to ride

We have been wanting to get Khloe some kind of little motorized vehicle to ride for quite some time. We made a trip to the store the other day and came across a little four-wheeler. There was a display one in the store so Khloe just hopped right on and started taking off down the aisle. So needless to say one got put in our cart for her. She loves it. I just wish it had a little more power so she could ride on the lawn. Maybe we will have to upgrade to the barbie jeep next year!

Daycare has been going ok. Khloe doesn't seem to mind it once she is there and I'm gone. It is the hand off that doesn't go so good. The sitter says that she loves the music and books part of the day...which doesn't suprise us. She is quite the little dancer.

She has also started going potty in the potty chair! Only now she has wised up and realized that if she sits on the potty we will read to her. Which means she asks to go potty about every 10 minutes. I think I could read "If you give a pig a pancake" and "Big Bird visits the Dodos" in my sleep. We need to find some new favorites.

We have all been fighting colds and Khloe is getting more teeth. So this weekend is all about resting. In fact Khloe has been asleep for about 3 hours now....I think that is a record lately!

Changes

Ohhh where to begin....

This last month has flown by. There have been a few changes around our house. First and foremost Khloe is getting so much bigger every day. She seems to just keep growing. Along with that comes more vocabulary. She has definitely learned and now understands the word "NO." She likes to use it a lot now. If she wasn't so cute the way she says it we would probably be having more problems. Sometimes I have to turn my head so she doesn't see me smiling!

As you can tell from the pictures she is loving sweet corn. Which has now come to an end. She has also been working hard on "swimming" in her bathtub. She likes to put her ears, eyes, nose, and mouth (drinks a little too) in the water now. It sometimes can be a fight to get her out. Usually the water gets drained out and Khloe is still laying in the tub hoping for more.

Books have become the favorite around our house. "If you give a pig a pancake" gets read at least 10 times a day. I think there is another one called "If you give a mouse a cookie." I think I need to go hunt that down so we can get a little variety!

Our babysitter that we have had since Khloe was born is leaving for college tomorrow! :( We will miss you Jessica!!!!! Khloe has had so much fun with her and loved going out to her house and seeing all of the kittys, puppies, cows, chickens and sheep.

Tomorrow is the start of daycare....I wonder who will cry more?!?! I'll let you know!

Time Flies

Wow...I just realized that I have not posted any new pictures for over a month! Time has really gotten away. I haven't been snapping as many photos as I would like, but I do have a few new ones to post. Khloe has been loving her corn on the cob, so of course there are a few of her being a complete mess. I will get them up here this weekend! I also have been working on some scrapbook pages so hopefully I can post those as well when they are done.

Khloe has been keeping us so busy. She is now repeating everything...EVERYTHING we say. She is starting to get more teeth and has been waking up at night again too...UGHHH. It still isn't as bad as when she was little though. She wakes up in the night and says she is hungry and wants pancakes. Night before last it was at 2:00 in the morning and Troy went in and was going to get her out of bed for some pancakes because she said she wanted some (you don't think she has him wrapped around her finger do you?). Unfortunatly for her I had the monitor on and went running in and said NO WAY. We do not want to get that started. We have also been out almost everynight playing croquet. She asks to play about 100 times a day. She loves to follow us around the hoops and usually wants to help Troy hit his ball. Which is fine with me, it puts him at a little disadvantage!

Well I better get off to bed before she is up wanting pancakes at who knows what time! I will try to get pictures posted this weekend!
