Visiting friends

We got to go visit some of our friends this week. Unfortunately McKenna wasn't feeling the greatest and we never ended up getting a picture of the two of them together. Although I don't think Khloe minded too much, she still got to play in the purple sand and carry her babies all around!

I'm really suprised she set this baby down at all. We had to make a special trip to the store when we got home to go pick up some babies and all the neat acessories that McKenna had!

Jessica was nice enough to let us borrow McKenna's cute hat since I forgot Khloe's at home.

Time to say goodbye! It was a short trip but well worth it!

New Camera has arrived!

Well I finally hit the pay button after months of anticipation and got my new camera this week! I can't believe what a difference it makes. I may not even need Photoshop now! Here are a few of the pics I took.

After Troy got over the initial shock of how much this camera cost, he decided maybe it wasn't such a bad purchase after all.

These are two of Khloe's favorite place. She loves to sit up on my station and "destroy" everything in site. She especially loves to dig through my makeup bag and get her hands dirty. She also loves to climb up on the couch and watch for birds and "bugs" (flies). She could watch those flies fly around all day long! Nevermind all of the toys that clutter the floor. Then it was time to head outside!
We went to DG last week and purchased a $5 yellow chair. Probably the best $5 I've ever spent on her! She carries that chair around everywhere!

Oh don't worry it is just your dad trying to hide from my camera. He thinks my camera isn't fast enough to catch all of his crazy moves.

I tried to tell him my camera can shoot fast and he didn't believe me!

Needless to say I am already having tons of fun taking pictures. I can't believe how crisp the photos are just straight out of camera. I can't wait to get some printed and see how they look compared to all of my old ones. I think I'm going to regret not getting this camera sooner!

Outside finally!

We have finally been able to get a couple of nice days outside for Khloe to ride her "lawnmower." It is so nice to have it outside instead of inside! There is much more room for her to ride around. It was also her first ride in the wheelbarrow....she wasn't so sure about that!

I have a friend....

I have a friend that has now ruined any chance of me getting something done at night. Photoshop has sat on my computer for months untouched....until now. I am hooked! Here is the beginning of my playing! There will be more to come......

Hey dude

One of Khloe's many talents is putting her hat on. It is a really tight hat, but she still manages to get it on her head...not always so straight. Which prompts us to say "Hey dude!"

The new bed has definatly been a big hit. She loves to play in it, which never happened with the crib. When she is ready for a nap or bed she just heads to her room grabs her pacifier and blankie and she's ready to go. It is a nice change from the fights we used to have!

My what big hands you have!

Khloe loves to try on anything that she can. Mostly Daddy's gloves and hats. We just have to get there fast with the camera because they are off in a flash and onto the next thing.

Cooking Lessons...

Here is what we (ok this was really all my doing) have been up to. I really shouldn't be sharing this, but it really was too funny not to. I bought a new cookbook called Deceptively Delicious. A really great concept of hiding veggies in common foods. So I tried to make the Mac & Cheese....Mind you, this was freshly made...it had not been sitting in the pan for hours. The good news was you really couldn't taste the cooked cauliflower I hid in it! :)

My new bed

Well it was time to upgrade to a twin bed. We were getting tired of sleeping on the couch everynight. So far so good. She really seems to like her new bed. Now we just need some new bedding!
I went to a Build-a-Bear and brought Khloe home a new friend. Her name is Sadie and Khloe really seems to like her.

Time for a Haircut...Just kidding!

Khloe loves to sit down in my salon chair and play with all of the lotions. There is not quite enough hair there for a haircut just yet. Besides we don't want to cut off all of those cute little curls!
